What is post surgical pain?

Post surgical pain is a relatively common occurrence. It is specific and different with each patient, and so there is no one treatment method. Relief of pain is accomplished by medications such as narcotics, analgesics, and NSAIDs. Nerve blocks, epidural injections, and lysis of adhesions can also be used.
