"While lifting children, I developed severe back pain and numbness down my right leg, as well as, falling because of my leg numbness. I eventually underwent a right-sided decompression at L4-5, L5-S1 for my pain in which I had some benefit but developed sciatic pain. My doctor told me to be patient with my pain and it didn't get better until my physical therapist referred me to IPPMC in which after three visits I have 80% improvement of my symptoms. I am now able to drive on my own in which I couldn't do over the last eight months. I am very thankful I was referred and for the help I've gotten for my back pain."

"When I first came in to IPPMC I was taking a relatively high amount of opioids for my back pain. I had back pain for five years and escalated my medication dose over the last two years. I could not do my gardening, housework or it would take me a lot longer to make supper and do my regular chores.
